More Than Mustard Maple Glazed Ham
serves 4-6
ingredients
1 Oscar's Smoke Ham
4 TBSP Oscar's More Than
Mustard
1 TBSP Brown Sugar
1 TSP Black Pepper
1 TSP Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 cup of Valley Road Maple
Farm Syrup
Cloves (optional)
directions
- Heat oven to 325 degrees - remember, the ham is already cooked, so
heating it at a lower temperature will prevent it from drying out. Place ham
in a roasting pan, skin-side up. Using a sharp knife, score a criss-cross
pattern in the skin—about 1/4" deep, with parallel lines about 1"-2" apart.
- Prepare the glaze: whisk together Oscar's More than Mustard, brown
sugar, maple syrup, black pepper and Worcestershire Sauce.
- Brush about 1/2 of the glaze over the ham. If using cloves, space them
out in the lines of the criss-cross pattern.
- Place the ham in the oven and cook (about 10-15 minutes per pound).
Baste the ham several times during cooking. If it starts to get too brown,
cover with foil.
- When finished, remove from the oven and let rest for 15 minutes before
serving. Baste with pan juices. Enjoy!
